The 57th Yearly Down home Music Affiliation Grants shook Nashville’s Bridgestone Field Wednesday night with a ritzy recognition for Jimmy Buffett as well as exhibitions by Wynonna Judd, Dan + Shay, Lainey Wilson and that’s only the tip of the iceberg.
“Heart Like A Truck” vocalist Lainey Wilson ruled the 2023 CMA Grants, procuring five prizes throughout the span of the evening. Her most memorable success of the day came early, when the principal victors were reported on “Great Morning America.”
Wilson and Strong were delegated the champs for Melodic Occasion and Music Video of the Year for their coordinated effort “Stand by in the Truck.”
