Tiwary will remain with Amazon until October to ensure a smooth transition.The resignation comes amid intense competition in India’s e-commerce market, with Amazon India facing challenges from rivals like Flipkart, Meesho, and quick-commerce players such as Blinkit, Swiggy’s Instamart, and Zepto.Despite the challenges, Amazon has emphasized its commitment to the Indian market, describing it as “an important priority”.
