A carjacker is seen on camera allegedly stopping and leaving a two-year-old alone in a car that was taken from an Oakland mother.

The moment a suspected carjacker in Oakland allegedly pulled over and left a two-year-old child inside the stolen car was caught on camera in stunning detail.

The boy was looked after bystanders until police could come and put him back with his mother.

It is said that the boy’s car was taken on Tuesday from outside the mother’s Oakland residence.

KGO-TV was able to obtain footage of the alleged carjacker carrying the boy out of the vehicle and dropping him off outside a San Leandro warehouse. After a minute, the child is approached by a bus, and the driver gets off to assist him. It shows other onlookers tending to the child.

The boy was discovered four miles from his Oakland mother’s house.

Additionally, KGO recorded the police reunifying the boy with his mother.

When the mother realized she had left her phone and Airpods in the stolen car, she was able to assist the police. By logging into the Find My Phone application, she was able to find out where the stolen car was.

The vehicle was discovered by police in a McDonald’s fast food restaurant parking lot.

According to Marin County Sheriff Adam Schermerhorn, “the mother was able to provide us with regular updates, at one point demonstrating that the device appeared to be on Tiburon Boulevard.” “A man and a woman were captured on security camera footage exiting the stolen car and driving north behind the McDonald’s.”

The two suspects were located, according to the police, sitting at a nearby bus stop.

According to police records, Oakland resident Viorel Andrei Morari, 34, was taken into custody on suspicion of kidnapping, abusing children, and carjacking, among other crimes.
