A phony Biden robocall advises people not to attend the primary in New Hampshire

New Hampshire voters are being advised to abstain from Tuesday’s primary election by a spoof robocall purporting to be from US President Joe Biden.

The calls appear to have been generated artificially, so an investigation has been launched.

The audio’s creator is unknown. The Trump team has refuted any participation.

Voters are instructed to “save” their ballot for the general election in November by a voice in the message.

Republicans have been attempting to encourage Democratic and nonpartisan voters to cast ballots in their primary. What a load of bullshit,” the message reads.

However, there is no law stating that voters in a primary are ineligible to vote in the general election, so there’s no need to “save” a vote.

“Although the voice in the robocall sounds like the voice of President Biden, this message appears to be artificially generated based on initial indications,” the attorney general’s office of New Hampshire stated in a statement.

Additionally, it stated that “voters should disregard the content of this message entirely” and that the “messages appear to be an unlawful attempt to disrupt” Tuesday’s election.

The robocalls purported to be from Kathy Sullivan, a former state Democratic chairwoman who assists in managing a pro-Biden political organization in New Hampshire, but in reality, they were from her personal mobile phone number.

“This call directly connects to my personal cell phone number without my consent,” the statement reads, denouncing it as “outright election meddling.”

An application to prevent robocalls According to Nomorobo, there were between 5,000 and 25,000 calls made, as CNN reports.

White House spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre affirmed the falsity of the audio on Monday. The call was criticized as an attempt to “suppress voting and deliberately undermine free and fair elections” by Julie Chavez Rodriguez, the manager of Biden’s campaign.

Voters from both major parties are choosing which candidate to support in this year’s general election in the New Hampshire primary.

Even though Mr. Biden’s name won’t be on the primary ballot in New Hampshire, state and local Democrats are spearheading a campaign to allow voters to write in his name.

After Mr. Biden approved a new voting schedule that disqualified New Hampshire from being the first state to host a primary, the decision was made to remove his name.

It is almost a given that Mr. Biden will receive the state’s and his party’s nominations in order to run for president again.
