Announcing Addition of Derrick White to 2024 USA Basketball Men’s National Team

USA Basketball has announced that Boston Celtics shooting guard Derrick White will suit up for the country at the Olympic Games coming to Paris. White, selected by managing director Grant Hill, is now part of a-men contingent gunning for gold.

Roster Update and Kawhi Leonard’s Absence

Kawhi Leonard, who had been reported to play in the team, will not be able to feature due to preparation for the NBA season; this was allowed by USA Basketball and the L.A. Clippers.

Grant Hill expressed his excitement to have White on board, boasting of its recent championship win with Boston and extending a warm welcome to the team’s final prep for Paris.
