In a recent leak, Sonny Dickson has revealed the new design and features of the upcoming Apple iPhone 16 Pro. The latest images show the iPhone 16 Pro with a similar design to its predecessor, but with some minor changes.
NEW COLORS AND DESIGN
The iPhone 16 Pro will come in three colors: White Titanium, Black Titanium, and Natural Titanium. Additionally, new colors such as pink, blue, and green will be added to the mix. The design remains largely the same, with a focus on premium materials and a sleek aesthetic.
CAMERA LENS LAYOUT
The camera lens layout has been updated, with the ultrawide and telephoto lenses switched to allow for stereoscopic video recording. This feature enables a 3D immersive experience when watched on the Apple Vision Pro.
CAPTURE BUTTON AND ACTION BUTTON
A new capture button is added to the spine of the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro, complementing the programmable action button. This allows for a two-stage shutter button and focus lock, making it easier to take professional-grade photos. The iPhone 16 will also feature an action button, which was not available on the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus models.
LAUNCH DATE
The iPhone 16 Pro is expected to launch on September 10, along with the rest of the iPhone 16 series. Apple traditionally launches new iPhones on the second Tuesday of September.
While the leak does not reveal much about the new software features, it is expected that iOS 18 will bring significant updates, including the first steps of generative AI and its implementation on the iPhone. Developer previews are available now, giving a glimpse into Apple’s plans for iOS 18.
