Building more walls: Texas SLAMS the razor wire ruling by the Supreme Court

The Biden administration is permitted to keep cutting the razor wire at the southern border of Texas, according to a ruling by the Supreme Court.

Texas, though, isn’t going to back down.

A spokesperson for the Texas Department of Public Safety, Lt. Chris Olivarez, tells Glenn Beck, “State of Texas, you know, we’re not backing down.”

“Nothing has changed, at least on our end, with DPS and National Guard. I just got back from Eagle Pass last night to kind of get a rundown of what’s happening and what’s going to take place with this whole Supreme Court decision,” he says.

In an effort to deter unauthorized border crossings, the National Guard is currently erecting additional barriers along the river.

Glenn says, “I love this,” adding that he’s “not sure what their job is” but that the government is constructing a story around the idea that individuals like Olivarez are “making it more difficult for them to do their job.”

What Olivarez sees as the federal government’s efforts are directed towards “creating this divide between federal agencies and the state” and “creating some sort of nonexistent conflict.”

In the meanwhile, undocumented immigrants who may have ties to terrorism are freely crossing the border.

“You have no idea the kind of people that are currently in our country,” says Olivarez, “and the threat is real.”
