A Southern California man has been captured and accused of homicide after he purportedly beat a lady the tar out of with a fire douser early Sunday, the Orange Region Lead prosecutor’s Office said Friday.
Dino Rojas-Moreno, 26, a barkeep, is blamed for moving toward Tatum Goodwin, 27, as she was by her vehicle in a parking area in Laguna Ocean side around 1 a.m. furthermore, attacking her, the examiner’s office said.
Rojas-Moreno then, at that point, purportedly hauled the lady to an isolated region behind a cinema that was under development and beat her with the fire quencher, it said.
A thought process was not satisfactory from an assertion from the lead prosecutor’s office. It was not satisfactory whether Rojas-Moreno and Tatum had any earlier relationship, the workplace said.
A representative for the head prosecutor’s office said she was unable to remark on a potential rationale. The case is still being scrutinized.
Goodwin’s relatives let NBC Los Angeles know that they are curious about Rojas-Moreno.
Rojas-Moreno is accused of homicide, with upgrades of carrying out the homicide in the commission of a seizing and for the individual utilization of a weapon, the lead prosecutor’s office said.
The casualty’s body was found at around 8:20 a.m. Sunday morning at the building site, the head prosecutor’s office said.
Rojas-Moreno was captured Wednesday in Laguna Slopes, which is close to Laguna Ocean side, and bail was set at $1 million, Laguna Ocean side police said in a proclamation.
“Criminal investigators decided this was a disengaged occurrence and there could be no further danger to the local area,” the police division said in the explanation Wednesday.
Online court records didn’t show a lawyer for Rojas-Moreno Friday night. An arraignment is booked for Monday, the head prosecutor’s office said.
