Elusive Georgia Murder Fugitive Finally Apprehended: Inside the Thrilling Monthlong Pursuit That Gripped the Nation!

After over a month on the run, a homicide suspect who was among four escapees from a Macon, Georgia, prison has been recovered following a multiweek manhunt.

Joey Travis Fournier, 52, was secured Saturday around early afternoon close to Stockbridge, Georgia, as indicated by the Bibb Province Sheriff’s Office. Fournier was being held in the Bibb Province detainment focus on a homicide allegation, police said.

Fournier had been on the run since Oct. 16, when he got away from Bibb Province Prison alongside three different men, Marc Kerry Anderson, Johnifer Dernard Barnwell and Chavis Demaryo Stirs up.

The prisoners advanced out of the confinement place through a harmed window and a cut wall, the Bibb District Sheriff’s Office said in an explanation at the hour of the getaway.

“We are thankful that this last escapee has been caught,” Bibb Region Sheriff David Davis said.
“My ardent appreciation goes out to all of the diligent cops from the Bibb District Sheriff’s Office and from all of our accomplice organizations who worked vigorously to bring these four criminals back into guardianship.”

Police said Fournier will be gotten back to Bibb Region Policing sometime in the afternoon.

Stirs up was quick to be captured on Oct. 26 in Montezuma. Then Anderson was tracked down in Atlanta on Nov. 3. On Nov. 12, Barnwell was secured in Augusta.
