The Kremlin said European NATO nations represented a danger to Russia as opposed to the gamble exuding from Moscow.
Answering an explanation by the Czech President Petr Pavel in which he noticed that NATO states sees Russia to be the main danger to Europe, Kremlin representative Dmitry Peskov said the comment was a “crazy” response.
“Russia doesn’t represent a danger to Europe. Europe represents a danger to Russia. Europe, being a U.S.- controlled landmass, I mean the EU, they are the ones who take part in NATO, which is moving with all its military could towards our lines,” he said Thursday, as per remarks deciphered by NBC News.
“This is a reality that can’t be questioned, it is a conspicuous truth. This represents a danger to us. This is the very thing that causes us to do what we are doing now,” he said in remarks to state media writer Pavel Zarubin.
Russia has more than once guaranteed that NATO’s development in eastern Europe in ongoing many years has represented a danger to its public safety, without introducing proof to back up its cases.
