Man accused of stalking Taylor Swift near her New York residence

A man has been detained and accused of stalking and harassing Taylor Swift in the vicinity of her New York residence.

Seattle resident David Crowe, 33, was taken into custody on Monday following reports of a “emotionally disturbed male acting erratically.”

The New York Police Department said that he was charged on two counts of stalking and harassment each.

Days prior, Swift’s home seemed to have been the target of an apparent break-in attempt.

The singer was out of the house at the time, cheering on her boyfriend, NFL player Travis Kelce, as his Kansas City Chiefs played the Buffalo Bills.

If the initial arrest suspect was connected to the harassment and stalking case, it has not been confirmed by the police.

Men have been pursuing Swift, who owns homes in Rhode Island and California, as well as in New York.

A man was taken into custody in 2022 after he drove a drunken car into the Grammy winner’s New York building and purportedly attempted to enter.

Roger Alvarado, one of the men who broke into her house, was discovered by the police sleeping on her bed. He received a six-month prison sentence.
