Mysterious Tenant Connection: Inside the Enigma of the Washington Couple’s Disappearance

The suspect in the vanishing of a Washington state couple was an occupant of theirs who worked for one of the people in question, as per a family member.

Karen Koep and her accomplice, Davido, were accounted for missing Monday. The Thurston Region Sheriff’s Office expressed Friday in reporting the capture of a suspect that it didn’t really accept that the couple endure the assault at their home.

The sheriff’s office affirmed Saturday that Timothy Burke, of Olympia, was captured. He has been accused of two counts of first-degree murder and one count of hijacking.

Koep’s sister, Pauline Dutton, said Friday that Burke was one of numerous occupants who lived on an investment property the couple possessed and that Burke worked for Davido “in lieu of lease.”

She said she last addressed her sister by instant message on Nov. 10, which she said was the last day anybody had heard from Koep or Davido, who lawfully changed his name to drop his last name.

The sheriff’s office has not said how the casualties knew the suspect.
Dutton said Thursday she didn’t know about any issues the couple were having before they vanished, yet she said “there was in every case some show with the occupants” who lived in the couple’s investment property.

She said numerous occupants were living in the property. At that point, she said she was “uncertain that they have a say in this.”

Dutton said Thursday that she didn’t think the couple left their home in the city of Lacey energetically.

Koep and Davido “were both kind and cherishing individuals and made a special effort to help other people,” Dutton said Sunday. “I request in honor from them that individuals work on spreading thoughtfulness and love.”

The couple were accounted for missing Monday after Koep, a bone and joint specialist in the humble community, didn’t appear at work, the sheriff’s office said.

Police were called after neither Koep nor Davido could be reached, Dutton said. Police did a health keep an eye on their home and didn’t find both of them there.

The sheriff’s office said the couple vanished under “dubious” conditions yet didn’t give extra subtleties. Their vehicle was subsequently tracked down on a road in Lacey.
