OLYMPIC DIVER TOM DALEY UNVEILS HAND-KNITTED PARIS GAMES THEMED SWEATER

Paris, France – Olympic medalist Tom Daley has showcased his latest achievement: a hand-knitted Paris Games themed sweater. The 30-year-old Team GB diver, who won his fifth Olympic medal earlier this week, has been knitting the sweater poolside during the Olympic Games.

According to CNN, Daley has been keeping fans updated on his knitting progress via his Instagram account @madewithlovebytomdaley, which boasts over a million followers. The sweater features a unique design, with a red, white, and blue color scheme, and includes elements such as the French and British flags, and the Eiffel Tower.

Daley began knitting during lockdown in 2020 and has since made it a tradition to create Olympic-themed knitwear. He finds inspiration in various places, including nature, and has even created a bee-themed design.

The knitting community has taken notice of Daley’s skills, with some offering tips to improve his technique. Despite this, Daley’s passion for knitting is evident, and he has made it a significant part of his Olympic experience.

Fans can purchase a Tom Daley branded knitting kit, which includes a pattern, needles, and yarn, to create their own Olympic-themed sweater.
