NEW YORK – – Dissenters briefly intruded on the yearly Macy’s Thanksgiving Day March as it walked through New York City.

The famous inflatables and walking groups needed to go around the demonstrators, who set down in the road, yet it didn’t prevent the 97-year occasion from going on.

She talked with a family from Virginia, who said the procession satisfied its expectations.

“It’s exceptional to be here, I love coming to the city,” said Brianna Laucella, of Wantagh.

Twins Donald and Ephram have their birthday coming up in two days. Donald has stage 4 high-risk neuroblastoma. The procession is the way he needed to celebrate turning 8. The NYPD got it going, giving him extraordinary access.

“To have the option to praise my children and have him with us one more year simply means the world and that were appreciative for,” mother and Staten Island occupant Nickell Morgan said.

In front of the procession, the NYPD shared its wellbeing measures, including new innovation.

“Security starts the day after last year closes,” Magistrate Edward Caban said.

“We can send our robot truck to the area, get a higher perspective of precisely what’s happening,” Colleague Chief Kaz Daughtry said.

“We’re ready to screen the inflatables, watch out for individuals, and ensure everybody is protected,” Head of Division Jeffrey Maddrey added.

Police said they plan for the procession the entire year, holding back nothing and cheerful Thanksgiving for all.
