A client has recorded a claim against the quick easygoing chain Chopt over a serving of mixed greens that she says contained a piece of the director’s finger.
The claim documented Monday by Allison Cozzi of Greenwich, Connecticut, charges that she purchased a serving of mixed greens at a Chopt area in Mount Kisco, New York, on April 7, 2023, and acknowledged while eating it that “she was biting on a piece of a human finger that had been blended in to, and made a piece of, the serving of mixed greens.”
As per the suit, a chief at the café incidentally cut off a piece of her left pointer finger while cleaving arugula.
The director went to the medical clinic, however the sullied arugula was served to clients that included Cozzi, the claim says.
Westchester District wellbeing office records show that Chopt was fined $900.
Cozzi said in the claim that she endured wounds including shock, fits of anxiety, headache, mental debilitation, sickness, dazedness, and neck and shoulder torment because of eating the defiled serving of mixed greens.
She is looking for undefined financial harms.
