WASHINGTON — A New York man who is running for the legislative seat recently held by George Santos was sentenced for this present week for charges connecting with the Jan. 6 uproar after he affirmed at his preliminary that he didn’t realize Congress met inside the State house.
Philip Sean Grillo, of Sovereigns, was found blameworthy Tuesday of the crime accusation of obstacle of an authority continuing, alongside a progression of wrongdoings like entering limited grounds and tumultuous lead in a Legislative center structure, the Equity Division said in a news discharge.
Grillo, 49, entered and left the Legislative center on Jan. 6 on various occasions, no less than once through a wrecked window, as per the Equity Office.
