A wrongdoing detailed in Chicago last week seems like a scene out of a blood and gore film, however a lady in Portage Park said her assault by a man wearing a jokester cover was genuine.
Police said the wrongdoing occurred at 7:34 p.m. Friday.
Erika Gierczak said she was at the Speedy Wash Laundromat at 5809 W. Montrose St. to do clothing, when the man in the comedian veil cut her on different occasions.
“I went somewhat to one side, and I see this person with a jokester cover – like a Halloween veil,” Gierczak said. “However, I moved my advantage, and afterward he went for the chest area, after he cut me like multiple times on the leg.”
The lady was taken to Backer Lutheran General Clinic in Park Edge in difficult condition, police said.
She remained hospitalized Monday night, when nobody was in authority.
