On Tuesday, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson became a member of the TKO board of directors.
On Tuesday, Dwayne Johnson gave his thoughts on being a member of the TKO board and obtaining the honor of using the most explosive moniker in sports entertainment—”The Rock.”
Johnson’s appointment to TKO’s board of directors was announced earlier on Tuesday. TKO also said that it had signed a “services and merchandise agreement” with Johnson, which sparked speculation that he would someday fight Roman Reigns again in the ring.
Johnson was content to be in the moment for now.
From the New York Stock Exchange, Johnson told Fox News Channel’s Will Cain, “It’s a very big moment for me personally, big moment for my family, big moment for us, I think, for Nick and I as partners with TKO too.” “It was a big announcement joining the board and some of the other things showcasing the power of what that could be especially in the business that I love and that I know that Nick loves in this world of WWE and professional wrestling.”
Johnson also talked about never being content because, as the former WWE champion pointed out, sitting on the board is by no means his only hat these days.
