Thousands of volunteers and millions of flowers were used to create this New Year’s Day parade.

In Pasadena, California, thousands of volunteers are working on floats for the annual New Year’s Day Rose Parade.

All of the decorations on the parade floats are made from dried or fresh flowers and plants. The tournament will take place for the 135th time this year.
