Trump Launches Scathing Attack on Kamala Harris in First Rally Since Biden’s Exit

In a fiery speech, former President Donald Trump blasted Kamala Harris as a “radical left lunatic” and claimed she would be the most left-wing occupant of the White House if elected.

Speaking at a campaign rally in Charlotte, North Carolina, Trump singled out Harris’s record on abortion and immigration, claiming she was in favor of the “execution” of babies and had overseen the “deadly destruction” of the US border.

Trump’s attacks came as Harris hit the campaign trail as the de facto Democratic nominee, following Joe Biden’s exit from the presidential race. Biden has praised Harris as “experienced”, “tough”, and “capable” and reiterated his support for her.

Despite Trump’s scathing remarks, Harris remains trailing in the majority of polls carried out since Biden’s exit. She faces questions about her appeal among the general electorate, having spent most of her political career in heavily Democratic California.

Harris, however, has shown no signs of backing down, rallying support among key demographics and securing record fundraising numbers.

The presidential race has injected new energy, with donors pledging record contributions and several polls showing Harris improving on Biden’s performance against Trump.

As the campaign heats up, Trump and Harris are set to clash in a series of debates and rallies, with the fate of the White House hanging in the balance.
