Ukraine’s General Staff said in a Google-deciphered morning update on Friday that the Russian military “doesn’t quit attempting to encompass” Avdiivka in the east of the nation, adding that Ukrainian powers had repulsed a whirlwind of Russian attacks.
The update said 69 battle conflicts had occurred along the contact line throughout the course of recent hours.
CNBC couldn’t autonomously confirm the report.
“Altogether, the foe completed 2 rocket and 26 air strikes, sent off 62 assaults from rocket salvo frameworks on the places of the Ukrainian soldiers and populated regions,” the General Staff of the Military of Ukraine said.
It noticed that Ukrainian powers had beaten back a progression of assaults in the Kharkhiv and Donetsk districts.
“The foe doesn’t quit attempting to encompass [the city of] Avdiivka .” The Russian soldiers completed attacks south-east of the Donetsk area, where nine assaults were repulsed, as per the update.
