Unmasking the Shadows: FBI Reveals Disturbing Links Between Ohio Walmart Shooter and Rising Tide of Racist Ideology

The shooter who started shooting at Ohio Walmart this week, harming four individuals, may have been in some measure part of the way motivated by brutal, bigoted philosophy, the FBI said Wednesday.

Benjamin Charles Jones, 20, committed suicide after he started shooting with a carbine at the Walmart in Beavercreek around 8:30 p.m. Monday, specialists have said.

He injured four individuals — a white man, a white lady and two People of color — the FBI said. All made due. Jones was white, the FBI said.
“In view of proof gathered — including diary works from the aggressor, Benjamin Charles Jones — the assault might have been undoubtedly somewhat roused by racially persuaded savage fanatic (RMVE) philosophy,” the FBI and Beavercreek police said in a proclamation.

“The FBI will keep on exploring the inspiring elements prompting this assault,” the offices said.
Jones utilized a .45-type Howdy Point carbine with one nine-round magazine, they said.

He purchased the weapon Saturday, only two days before he started shooting, from a store in the Dayton region, the FBI and police said in the proclamation.

Beavercreek is a city of around 46,000 east of Dayton.
