On Christmas morning, Beyoncé’s Houston childhood house catches fire

Christmas morning, Beyoncé’s childhood house caught fire, according to KPRC, which cited the Houston Fire Department.

The family that now resides in the Houston house made a safe escape, and the fire department informed KPRC that no injuries were recorded.

Rosedale Street’s brick house is now recognized as a landmark. The realtor said on “Good Morning America” that the Knowles family purchased the house in 1982 and resided there until Beyoncé was approximately five years old when it was up for sale in 2018.

According to KPRC, the Houston Fire Department was called to the house on Monday at around 2:07 a.m. local time in response to reports of a fire.

The couple residing there had already escaped with their two small children as the house was fully engulfed in flames by the time firefighters arrived.

Requests for more information were not immediately answered by the Houston Fire Department.
