Putin says Russia has ‘no interest’ in fighting NATO
Russian President Vladimir Putin said Sunday that Moscow cared very little about battling NATO, noticing rather that he was keen on “creating relations” with the tactical collusion.
In a meeting with state Broadcasting company Rossiya 24, Putin excused remarks by U.S. President Joe Biden, who said recently that Russia would go after a NATO country assuming that it won the conflict in Ukraine, as per Tass news office.
“It is finished hogwash – and I think President Biden figures out that,” Putin said in remarks refered to by Reuters.
“Russia has not a great explanation, no interest – no international interest, neither monetary, political nor military – to battle with NATO nations,” he added.
NATO’s toward the east development has for quite some time been viewed as a main driver of Russia’s full-scale intrusion of Ukraine.
