You’ll have to wait until 2025 for more ‘Euphoria’

Viewers of “Euphoria” may be a little disappointed to hear this news: Season 3 may take longer to release than anticipated.

The HBO drama series starring Zendaya will not return until 2025, the network has announced.

At a press conference on Thursday morning in New York, the show debuted a teaser reel that included the expected return date.

The first season of “Euphoria,” an intense and edgy look at high school life, will air in three years following the passing of star Angus Cloud.

Cloud, 25, passed away from an unintentional overdose in July.

“Euphoria” debuted in 2019 and had a second season that aired in 2022, delayed due to a pandemic.

“The most viewed episode of an HBO series ever on HBO Max, currently with more than 14 million viewers across platforms” was the description provided by HBO for the Season 2 premiere of “Euphoria.” (HBO is owned by Warner Bros. Discovery.)

For her portrayal of Rue Bennett, Zendaya won Emmys in 2020 and 2022, and the show has propelled many of its up-and-coming stars to stardom.

Barbie Ferreira, a cast member, declared her departure from the program in August.

Among the stars of the show are Maude Apatow, Jacob Elordi, and Sydney Sweeney.
